Marci MacGuffie has had solo exhibitions at Singapore Science Center (in partnership with Ars Electronica, iTokyo, Creative Korea), Real Art Ways, ArtSpace-NH, Fairfield University and Baumgartner Gallery in NYC. Her selected group exhibitions in galleries include: Allegra LaViola Gallery, Jason McCoy Gallery, Eighth Veil, Roebling Hall, Greene Contemporary, Goff and Rosenthal (Berlin), Baumgartner Gallery. Her work has been reviewed in: NY Magazine, Time Out Singapore, Forbes Life, Brooklyn Rail, NY Press, AM New York, and the New York Times. MacGuffies work is included in the book titled, “Art in Action, Nature, Creativity and our Collective Future” published by Palace Press/ Earth Aware Editions as well as After Stanley Donen curated by Jibade-Khalil Huffman.
She studied at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2001), Rhode Island School of Design (MFA Painting/Printmaking 2000) and Cornell University (BFAPrintmaking 1995). Born Chicago, IL, 1972 Marci MacGuffie currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
