Marci MacGuffie has had solo exhibitions at Singapore Science Center (in partnership with Ars Electronica, iTokyo, Creative Korea), Real Art Ways, ArtSpace-NH, Fairfield University and Baumgartner Gallery in NYC. Her selected group exhibitions in galleries include: Allegra LaViola Gallery, Jason McCoy Gallery, Eighth Veil, Roebling Hall, Greene Contemporary, Goff and Rosenthal (Berlin), Baumgartner Gallery. Selected Group in Non-Profits: Weatherspoon Art Museum, ISE Cultural Center, Rotunda Gallery, Smack Mellon, Exit Art, The Discovery Museum, Hudson D. Walker Gallery, and The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts.

Her honors include: 2012-2011 BKS Yuletide Ball Committee Member, 2012-06 Smack Mellon Benefit Committee, 2012-2010 Millay Colony Artists Committee, 2007 Mid-Atlantic Creative Arts Fellow, 2007 Millay Colony resident fellow, 2004-2001 Visiting Artist and Adjunct Faculty: Fairfield University, 2004 Puffin Foundation Grant, 2001 Work selected for Library of Congress and 2001 ‘Exposure Award’ from Discovery Museum.

Her work has been reviewed in: NY Magazine, Time Out Singapore, Forbes Life, Brooklyn Rail, NY Press, AM New York, and the New York Times. MacGuffies work is included in the book titled, “Art in Action, Nature, Creativity and our Collective Future” published by Palace Press/ Earth Aware Editions as well as After Stanley Donen curated by Jibade-Khalil Huffman.

She studied at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2001), Rhode Island School of Design (MFA Painting/Printmaking 2000) and Cornell University (BFAPrintmaking 1995). Born Chicago, IL, 1972 Marci MacGuffie currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
